Jim Aller, owner/manager
Jim is 48 years old. He is the past President of the Local Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation. He has been a mechanic for over 20 years. He owns and operates Wolf River Pyrotechnics
Jim is very active in his community serving as a Kansas Hunter Education
instructor. He has also served as the president of the Robinson Lions Club,
past Bow Club president, past president (3 terms) and current secretary (4 terms) of the Kansas Outfitters Association
(Jim founded the Outfitters Association in Kansas).
Since Jim began the outfitting business in 1995, he has not had as much time to hunt
for himself, however, he did get a nice deer with his bow a couple of years ago.
He currently shoots a Buckmaster bow, but has shot all types of archery
equipment including a Black Widow recurve. Having used both traditional and
compound equipment, he understands what is needed by hunters when they come to
hunt with us.
Jim has two children Patrick (PJ) and Brenna who both are very active in hunting. He keeps in close contact with his brothers (Terry and Jerry) and mother (Pat) , and helps work on the family farm.
Jim is an avid outdoors man. He has always enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. It doesn't matter if it is bass fishing on a local farm pond, pheasant hunting, dove hunting, deer hunting with either a bow, rifle or muzzleloader or turkey hunting, Jim enjoys being outdoors.
On a recent trip to New Mexico, Jim had a good time with some antelope. He shot a real nice one with a B & C score of 82 3/8.
